Norquist failing to attract newer Republican pledgies

by on 07/07/2012

Huffington Post is reporting in a new post that new legislators who were drinking the kool-aid and “taking the pledge” at a rate of 88% are now now committing to a deep relationship with the idealogue at a rate of 54%.

Awwww. Bummer. Even if it’s not binding, as a stage prop it has been a star rhetorical performer, cake for the masses. Not that the “unsigned” will suddenly support governance, not obstructionism, it means that, well, fewer are quite as hamstrung in negotiations that might include a dirty word, compromise.
